Founded by the British, you can still spot pack ponies and mules trot up and down the steep slopes carrying merchandise as they did some 125 years ago. Endless views of the deep misty valley stretching below make Top Station an ‘above the clouds’ experience. Regular buses to this vantage point from Munnar (an hour’s drive), in addition to jeep services costing Rs. 400.
